Sorry to hear it. Usually this is caused by antivirus software removing some core files required by the game engine.
NOTE: Don't forge to re-enable your antivirus software afterwards.
It may also be your zip software. Using something free like WinRAR or 7-zip should be fine.
Sometimes the inbuilt Windows extracter doesn't work so well.

On the catgirl's "milk" scene, her breasts are off-kilter (one is significantly higher than the other on her frame). Played with camera rotation to see if it was just the angle I was looking from, nope, it was the model. Possible its just me, but in case it isn't, figured I'd mention it.

it’s a minor bug with the breast physics. I just have to modify the arm position
After talking to Natsu the journl breaks. It only shows hair and outfits of the girls and sometimes the wrong ones. Other than that, it's a great start and I'm excited to see where it goes.
Do you mind sharing a bit of your tech stack for this? What did you use to make the models/animations? Are they variants from a set of prefabs or did you work from scratch in blender or something? I love the look of this game.

I bought the original models from the Unity Asset Store and then hired artists to make heavy modifications. Tools used varied by contractor, but mainly Blender and Maya.
I then use my custom mesh combiner to assemble the characters with hair, body proportions, clothing, etc. The mesh combiner also rigs the skeleton accordingly.
I would recommend making your own character models instead of buying assets if you have the ability. It makes for a more unique looking game and is a fraction of the cost/effort.I’ll never do it this way again :)
This game is pretty neat as far as it is, the models and world have potential.
There are two things I'd love to see, or to know how to archive if already implemented:
1) A continue button. I was very confused that I saved and couldn't continue the game. Took me a while and a couple times of replaying the beginning until I realized, I could save, exit the game, open the game again, start a NEW game and do a quick load from there.
2) a positional reset. Either to a fixed point I lately came across or - to keep things simple - to the starting position of the game. As of right now I'm stuck due to a bug while an H-Scene. Suddenly map and female Character disappeared, leaving me with a sky and the protagonist. As the protagonist looks up all the time, I could only guess, that I got below the map and I can't see it from below because the areas are rendered from one side only.
As the concept is a nice one and I really like the models and the small-but-open-world style the game has, I'll closely watch how the game develops :) Keep up the good work!

1) A "Continue" button for the main menu is coming. I am sorting out some bugs with loading of the game directly from the menu at the moment.
2) Rather than add a reset position feature I'd rather just fix the bug. Which H scene is it you are having issues with? Which girl?
You can look forward to some more open levels and more characters in the not too distant future.

About the bug:
It appeared right at the beginning of the H-Scene with the feline sword-wielding girl at the small bridge, schould be Misato. It's the first/only H-Scene with her. I think the time was set to day. Got a sword, Ice cream and Head band in inventory. I guess I got myself a new map already. I also asked Himeko for a sword again and she gave me one, game showed the gain message but there was still only one sword in the inventory. Not sure if that could have something to do with the bug, but is the only 'outside the box behavior' I could think of, that I did in the game before that bug.
The bug itself:
After the last line of dialogue, the Protagonist and Girl should change position for the H-Scene to happen. Protagonist does just that - and goes through the whole scene, given his lack of clothes and his movement. But all alone - the girl was gone and with her the whole map. All to be seen is the sky and a dark blue abyss beneath the protagonist. After what is probably the length of the scene the protagonist turned back to clothed and upright standing. I can't move him, can't even trigger the walk/run animation. I can get into the inventory, change the time, open the menu. So all the keyboard reactions are fine, including save and load. Cameramovement is fine too, can look in all directions, right up and right down.
Beside that bug:
Hope that (lengthy) description will help to track the bug down. Do you have some kind of public bug-list, where people could submit bugs and look up what bugs are submitted already? I personally hesitate to submit on, say itch comment section or similar, minor bugs, that probably someone already told you about, maybe even 30 times. Having a list I could go through and only add a new bug if it's not already listed would be neat.
i have very high hopes for this game but i will say there is a lot of bugs. although i did have a fun time. am i supposed to know how to use the dev tools? and there is a bug with that, if you up the relationship at all with any girl you can never talk to them again
I’m glad you enjoyed the game. It is still in alpha, but I have tried to put enough in the game that it is possible to see the potential of what the finished game could be. The bugs will be fixed one by one as I go.
The dev tools are just for me when testing the game. They’re no intended for players so there are side effects like you mentioned. You can use them if you like, but you use at your own risk :)
I have been questioning myself, about the catgirl with green hair behind the "house" what should i do with her? i gave her some kind of "ball" but i don't know what to do next: / and yea, your game is very good! just need to fix some bugs and fix a few characters movements and clothes ... in reality, have to fix a lot of things, yet still waiting to see how it will be when you end the creation of this art we call game. i loved it :)

Thanks for the high praise. I’m currently working with 3D artists to rework the girls including boob sizes, genitals and clothing. Hopefully I can put the new models in the game by Christmas and then I can fix some of those pesky bugs.
I was surprised by how much fun this game is. It reminds me of Rune Factory for the Wii with its style, which is a big compliment.

A lot of potential for this one. I wish the dialogue choices were'nt via mass effect style. Is giving the map to the guy a trick? Do I need it for the Elf? Does the nekomata behind the school not want the ice cream from the campsite?

After returning to the main area from visiting the bunnygirl, I fell through the map as it was loading...

There is a loading bug that I am working on right now, but it's proving to be very tricky
lol something you should know then... the blue platform thing in between the main area and the bunny area, if you quick save there and reload, it breaks the game. not only can you not move, it says "load failed" or something like that, as well as making it so that if you go to the main menu, and start a new game, you cannot talk to anyone, or interact with any items. just some useful intel. awesome game, thanks for figuring out the zip file issue, now that I can play it, it is great. Excited for updates!

It’s a standard zip so your software should be fine.

Thanks, I made the mistake of only trying to unzip the one without the other, it's unfortunate though that I have to wait till I get some better graphics, my onboard is only 358mb, game doesn't load or loads very slow, although, I played another Unity game recently and It ran fairly smooth. I have 4GB Ram, a Duo Core. After testing against Task manager when running, I Found the game drains all of the RAM slowly, it just climbs higher and doesn't stop till it's using 100% when loading from choosing a name. it is designed to go over 1,000,000 K?
I have not observed the RAM gobling issue myself, but I'll take a closer look.
I have not yet done an optimisation pass on the game so I'm not surprised it runs poorly on low spec PCs.
The good news is that the new female models, materials and textures will drastically reduce the size of the project and the required memory.
The dialogue selection menu in the trailer looks VERY similar
to the one in Mass Effect 1
That has been replaced in the latest version. Although I still need to replace all the screenshots :)
The game is no longer compatible with the itch client app.
The app requires a single downloadable archive file for the game. Splitting the archive into two parts (.ZIP and .Z01) breaks the itch client. (Though maybe there is a way to get itch.io to consider the two files to be one release.)

I cant download the game on the launcher and when i try and get the game on the site it says the folder is empty whats going on?
This is my fault. The latest builds are in a multi-part zip file. Turns out that the itch.io client launcher does not like that.
Go to the itch.io website and download both files.
I'm working on a permanent fix for this.
why i can't click the new game button to start the game???
This was discovered recently. It has to do with large resolutions.
Try 1920 x 1080 and it should work. I should have a fix for the next version.
Alternatively you could try using the arrow keys to select the New Game button and press Enter.
Played this game back when it was .0.5.0 Must say that I am overjoyed with the progress you've made, but for some reason I can't interact with anything after downloading latest version.
If you have not played for a while I think you're in for a real treat.
You should be able to interact with characters and items by walking up to them and facing them directly. If they are in range then you will see an icon appear above their head.
Then just press E and you're interacting. Hooray!
If that does not work be sure to check that your antivirus has not annoyingly removed some game files.
If it has then disable your antivirus , unzip the files again then launch.

You should consider sending Steam a demo of your game and seeing if they allow it. They allow games like this now. Then start up a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds so you can work on it (keep all rewards digital). Steam and Kickstarter allowed this game, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/990500595/subverse/ which is made by this company https://studiofow.com/. I see no reason why they wouldnt allow yours. Really consider this please, this game has the same potential. Currently the game is up to $1,703,617 USD with 46,020 backers.

The success of the Subverse Kickstarter campaign is encouraging for adult games. When I started making MGT I ruled out Kickstarter because back then I was a small fish with no real experience and I didn't think I could run a successful campaign.
It's very tempting to try Kickstarter now, but I have to think about those who have already pledged on Patreon. I need to find a way to be fair to them if I also raised money from Kickstarter.
It's something I'll will have to think about very carefully.
Would love to see you try it. Maybe get all your patreons emails and allow them to create an outfit for a character, names in a special thank-you area in credits, free steam key and maybe mail them a signed poster of all the characters or something like that if you ever do a kickstarter, Look forward to seeing the future of this game.
Probably one of the most promising game I've played so far. Of course for the instant the game is still pretty light, but I trust the dev, the game is going to be really enjoyable. By the way, I think it would be an improvement to translate to other languages (or let the community do it :p). Anyway, keep up the good work, cannot wait to see the next version !

There is an Inventory glitch, I was trying to mix items to combine, but it froze with one item in the combine field while I tried to exit. Also you didn't set flags for items, so you can keep getting swords and maps. There is a bones pose error on the Teacher. The graphics do glitch, which might be way someone else reported their computer heated up. You cannot scroll on the Journal screen to see other characters in the list.
Other then that, not bad for a demo.

1. This combine items issue is a new one. I'll investigate further.
2. I am working on the Dialogue System to use flags, but it is currently under-featured. However, the Inventory System is clever enough to know not to add duplicates.
3. I'm currently trying to solve some pose issues in H scenes where arms and legs do things they really shouldn't :)
4. Not sure what you mean by "graphics do glitch". Can you be more specific?
The game is not yet optimised so some lower end computers can struggle.
1. Just try random objects, it froze when I used the map and the hair band.
3. That's a skeletal issue in the pose, some how the axis is messed up on the teacher's pose. Did you create the assets or get them from the store?
4. The reflections sometimes vanish and I can see through certain objects.
Got stuck at a few parts (I think its just the end of the demo) but every minute I played, I enjoyed.

You can see your game “Completion” in the Journal screen to see if you have reached the end of the currently available content.
However, this has been bugged for the last two releases. It’s fixed now, but I apologise if your experience was frustrating.

Well, as an idea for something to do, I suggest you add the option of saving the game before continuing developing. Of course I can just play it all at once, but it would be nice. Anything would do, even just writing a .txt file with ones and zeros, and each one or zero corresponds to "has this been done?", and at the end a sequence on numbers from 0 to 3 to represent the relationship with each gal, I mean I don't think it's too hard to do though I've never used unity to complete any projects yet, maybe it litterally has a "Save Game" function that does everything for you.
Also, I experienced one issue. When I play the game my laptop gets too hot, and once it has even turned off cause it was too hot. This happened with the minimun graphics which are about as good (or worse than) 4Story (an MMORPG).
Anyways, I'll be honest; it's a nice game, I enjoyed it (though I don't think I finished it, I could find a way to open the Forest area), though it needs some tweaks.

Right now there is no Save/Load screen, but there is a Quick Save (Press F5) and Quick Load (Press F9) feature.
No need to play the whole game in one sitting.
I am sorry to hear about your overheating issues. I have yet to do a full performance pass.
Have you tried running the game with settings Fastest at 1280×720?
I'm currently working on the other game levels so you can go beyond that starting forest level. There are a couple of small technical issues to deal with first and as well as juggling some art contractors.
There is only so much one man can do :)

Cant help with the blocked road - Im stuck at 75% progress - but you find a fish along the lake... walk over the bridgeand go to the left.
With that you can feed Akeno.
No way to remove the rocks yet. Working on it though.
Try looking down on the bank f the pond for something a cat might like to eat.

I like it a lot so far but a "help" feauture would be nice to know how to progress through the story ; the models need some rework but overall the game is pretty cute . Can't wait for the next public release ( as I can't afford being a patron for now ) ; I would have liked some loli-like content but I understand why you may not feel like putting it in the game so it's daijobu. = u =)b

The models have been reworked with more detail and different size hips, boobs, nipples. I hope to get the new models in the game before the end of November.
What's the progress on implementing a POV/first person camera for the h-scenes?
I can confidently say progress is 0%.
I hadn’t considered it because the facial expressions will eventually provide clues on how well you are doing in the mini game.
I could add it for the H Service scenes though I guess.
